A.   Every year we send out a checklist of everything that we need sent to us. With every year HMRC get more and more strict so the list is ever growing.

Limited Company Accounts

Q. What paperwork do you need from me in order to prepare my limited company accounts and when do you need it?

A. We prepare limited company accounts on a ‘first come first served’ basis (ie. we keep a log of when your paperwork is received by us and that date puts you on a list to prepare your accounts) so the sooner you can get your paperwork to us after your accounting year end, the sooner, your accounts will be prepared. However, we do need all your paperwork relating to your accounting year so you will need to wait until you have a bank statement covering the year end date and all invoices relating to work done in the year have been issued and receipts for bills paid in the year have been received. Please try to avoid sending in information in dribs and drabs.
